Fantastic job on your presentations this week – THANK YOU!!
Check out these links related to some of the organisms we mentioned during our discussion on Life Cycles. And remember, it’s a cycle, so enjoy the stage you’re in now and don’t underestimate your influence in the world – silkworms influence a worldwide industry during their awkward teenage stage!
But really, the things you’re learning and the connections you’re making now will help shape who you are becoming! And just like the chrysalis of a butterfly, what’s going on inside of you during this pivotal time of development can seem like a mystery to everyone else – but know what an amazing creation you are continuing to become too!
Don’t hold out on us! We want to hear from you and all the fascinating questions and ideas you’re having throughout your week – the shower thoughts are some of the best! 🙂
Remember to write some of these things down on your HW Checklist!
2. PERSONAL STUDY
This kind of study can be some of the most rewarding! Tell us about your favorite highlights this week and what stuck out to you or that you finally grasped!
Science: Usborne Encyclopedia of Science, pgs 330-337
- Watch at least 2 videos on any of the topics from that selection of pages
- Usborne Quicklinks site: Science
Philosophy for Kids: Questions #31 and #32 (pgs 99-102)
- Remember to write down your favorite parts in your notebook!
4. DEBATE PROJECT PROGRESS
Find your Debate packet and be thinking about what you want to include on the DEBATE PLAN worksheet on the very last page.
These will be due in a couple weeks!
